The publishing house cannot afford it, and the printing house cannot afford it.

I once carried out a test and calculation. I will tell you the price of the glue first. For China, the transformation of adhesives has gone through the fourth generation: the first generation used collar cotton plant flour paste and animal bone glue; by the early 1970s it was changed to synthetic resin-based water-based glue Is the EVAC; the third generation is in the early 1980s, we began to use EVA hot melt adhesive; the fourth generation is in 2008, we began to replace the PUR adhesive, which is polyurethane adhesive. Now it's time for another change. In fact, the difficulties encountered in every change are great, because I have been in person during these changes.

The benefits of PUR glue this time, there is nothing to say about low-carbon environmental protection and energy saving. For example, it uses a low-oil glue and does not use plant-based rosin. It can be used normally at a temperature of 120 degrees. , But EVA needs to reach 170 degrees. In addition, PUR does not need to be changed during use. It saves labor and time. With this type of glue, no matter what material is used in books and periodicals, it can be bonded very firmly. In addition, the temperature resistance of PUR glue is very good. At the beginning of this year, there was a major accident in the printing of a book in Beijing. Over 30,000 textbooks were broken because the adhesive caused the books to break when the outdoor temperature was low. If you use PUR glue, this problem will not occur, because PUR glue can withstand low temperature -40 degrees, high temperature 125 degrees.

The strength of the PUR adhesive is very high, and the adhesive force is very large. The minimum pull value is 9 N. When a glue factory is tested, the pull value reaches 18 N. However, the standard value of the EVA we are currently using is only 4.5N, so PUR is very reliable and strong. Its sturdiness is comparable to the chemical fiber thread used for lock thread. Therefore, there is absolutely no problem if the lock wire is changed to PUR glue. Because there are cases of hardcover books using PUR glue in Japan and South Korea. If we use PUR glue to make hardcover books, its adhesive situation can not only be comparable to chemical fiber thread, but also enterprises can save the energy consumed by the thread lock machine and the thread lock machine, so PUR glue is actually a very Low carbon post-press adhesive process.

Another point is that PUR glue is very safe and reliable. When we use hot-melt adhesives, we must clean the equipment frequently, otherwise the hot-melt adhesive will carbonize and smoke, and the powder will catch fire when there is a long time. Case.

In terms of price, the current price of hot melt adhesive is about 25,000 yuan per ton, but from the current situation, there is still a trend of price increase, because rosin is currently 22,000 per ton, and oil is also rising, as 80% The price of EVA hot melt adhesives using rosin and petroleum will certainly continue to rise. At present, some people are cheap and buy more than 10,000 hot-melt adhesives. As our enterprise, don't be fooled because that price is impossible. As a PUR glue, the current price of a ton is more than 100,000, more than 130,000 imported, more than 70,000 domestically produced. However, in use, EVA hot-melt adhesive needs to be about 1.2mm on the coating, while PUR only needs to be coated about 0.4mm, which saves 2-3 times the amount of use. Folded in this way, EVA hot-melt adhesive is calculated according to 2.4-2.5 million meals, and the cost of each order is about 3.4 yuan; while PUR adhesive only costs about 3.3 yuan, which is still very suitable.

As an enterprise, don't look at the unit price easily, but look at how much money we need to use for a piece of paper.

Finally, there is a modification of the equipment. Our environmental protection investment is actually in equipment transformation. The main part of the PUR glue equipment transformation is the glue application device and the other is the pre-glue pot device. The pre-glue pot device of PUR glue is totally enclosed. Unlike our EVA hot-melt glue, put it in and preheat it for 2 hours to reach the temperature we need. The setting of 160 degrees is 160 degrees. PUR glue pots go out dozens of degrees, not as energy-saving as PUR glue. Now the pre-glue pot is replaced with PUR glue. It can be used after pre-heating for 10-15 minutes. It does not need to be cleaned. It is very labor-saving and environmentally friendly. It is fully enclosed and pre-heated. In terms of glue application devices, one is spray type and the other is roller type. All these transformations, if imported, cost about 550,000 yuan, if they are domestically produced, they only cost about 250,000 yuan. It's these investments, but what you won is that customers won't find you, they won't drop pages, and they're environmentally friendly. It can be said that PUR glue is definitely a development trend. For example, Brazil is not a big country, but 200 million copies of textbooks are made of PUR glue every year.
